De temps en temps un des adultes apporte un poisson à l'autre qui couve et ils échangent les rôles. A suivre ... Je le cite : "i've made some calculations again, this time really with pen on paper ... baby hatched 38½ days after the second egg was laid. it was laid in the afternoon and had hatched in the night of April 24th, so it took 38½ days. it could not be from the 1st egg, because it would have been the 42nd day for it. that's too much, like Renno also wrote then. on the other hand, it can't be from the 3rd egg, because that would have been too early, only the 36th day. so the baby has to be from the 2nd egg and the remaining egg is number 3. number 1 was broken for some reason. 3rd egg was laid in the night between 19th and 20th. probably it happened in the early morning of 20th, and so today early morning was 38 full days for it. if it would take 38½ days altogether it should hatch any time now. actually i think it should be there already... so far we have only seen some spots on the egg. i'm not so sure if they have grown much larger since yesterday. there may also be some dirt on the egg. and this sunshine is so impossible for seeing the egg... hearing eggtalk is also difficult because the baby chirps so loud every time Linda or Sulev get up. so i'm not sure at all if anything is really happening there... i think the second chick should be in the nest tomorrow morning or noon latest. otherwise i'm afraid that the egg will never hatch..."
